Part 1 of this article covered the situation where the free bingo player bluffed by betting when he couldn’t beat what was showing on board.

You can also bluff by not raising. This is a situation where you know you have a good hand and you don’t raise. You just sit there quietly and call the bets. You let the other players think they have good hands and let them do all of the raising. This is called the Show play bingo. For example, you might have an ace showing and a pair of aces in the hole.  The other players have a pair of tens showing and jacks. You let them do all of the raising. By just calling their raises, you let them build the pot without raising or calling any attention to yourself. They concentrate on each other in their raising and wonder why you are staying in.

If you are going to successfully play internet casino poker, you have to be able to bluff. Watch the professionals on television. They know how to bluff. You can watch some of them take pot after pot by bluffing. Sometimes you know they are bluffing, sometimes you don’t. You can’t always have the winning hand.  Sometimes you have to be able to take a pot by bluffing.  If you can’t bluff, then don’t play poker, because you won’t be able to tell when other players are bluffing. And you won’t be able to take a pot when it is clear that the other players are unsure of their own positions.
