Poker strategy involves many different tactics and moves. It involves knowing what to do and what not to do and when. That is part of bingo games strategy. You don’t always have to be honest in poker when you bet. You have to be able to bluff if you want to win. A bluff is when one player makes the others think he does or doesn’t have a good hand by the way he bets and acts. For example, you may have a pair of fives and the other UK bingo player has a pair of sixes showing. He has been betting hesitantly, throughout the hand.

So you rise on your pair of fives. You don’t have anything is the hole. This is a bluff.  The other online casino player has your hand beat on board. You don’t know what the other player has in the hole. He could have another six or another pair. The purpose of the bluff is to make the other player think you have a good hand so that he drops out. If the bluff is successful and he folds, you win the pot.

If it isn’t successful, you lose. It is a gamble. Betting on a hand when you don’t have anything is the essential bluff. If you can force the other player out, you take the hand.  You must act like you have something when you bluff. Poker players are good at reading their opponents. If you are obvious or bluff too often, they will come to learn that.
